​At Sparkling Flues we ensure that your chimney, flues and appliances are safe, and all work is conducted to the Guild of Master Sweeps strict code of practice. We offer both traditional sweeping and the modern power-sweeping technique for either your chimney, twin wall flue system or flexible liner whilst using a high powered HEPA filtered industrial vacuum.

​Depending on what your chimney is used for will ultimately depend on how often it should be swept and maintained. Whether you burn wood or coal or have a gas appliance, they will all require regular maintenance and servicing to not only maximise performance levels and to prevent any potential future damage and build ups, but to also maintain the warranty of the appliance manufacturer.

I found Sparkling Flues on google, looking for someone local and preferably female led (and they ticked both boxes!). The online form was easy to fill out and I got a quick email response within 24 hours. I was given appointment options which was helpful when working full time. Emma arrived within the slotted appointment time and worked quickly and left no mess at all. She gave me advice on the findings from the chimney sweep and recommended cleaning products and a stove thermometer which has made life much easier as a newbie wood burner owner! I was very happy with the service and will be using them again for my annual sweep next year.

Fantastic, clean and extremely professional.
The Woodburner was so clean I nearly got brownie points from the wife for cleaning the glass, until I came clean that Emma had done it as part of sweeping the flue.

A clean chimney can help prevent fires and structural damage to your property. Regular cleaning of your chimney or flues will eliminate the build up of soot and clear obstructions such as bird or animal nests, leaves and debris. Make sure you are not at risk from carbon monoxide poisoning by having appliances serviced by competent qualified professionals.​
​Always ensure that you receive an official insurance recognised certificate following your sweep. This states your chimney flue has been swept in accordance with the National Industry Standard and is recognised by all leading insurance companies.
